Chart topping musical duo, The Chainsmokers just popped back up so they could share a brand new single. Their new You Owe Me single follows up their previously released hit record, Sick Boy. They’ve released them as a 2 sided single and creatively combined the songs titles as Sick Boy…You Owe Me. This new The Chainsmokers You Owe Me record exchanges anthemic edm vibes for more of a pop punk sound. Their latest offering continues the trend of the band’s crossover into the sounds of alt-rock. The song features somber guitar riffs accompanied by a few sparing synth lines. They paint a vivid picture with striking lyrics while delivering a catchy chorus that’s sure to get stuck in your head. And of course the duo also released an official music video to go along with their You Owe Me single.
The duo collaborated with the director Rory Kramer to shoot their new cinematic clip for You Owe Me. It starts off with the guys dressed in preppy attire as they meticulously clean up their plushed out mansion. The guys appear to be getting ready to have a huge dinner party with a bunch of friends.
