Shot in Nigeria, the official music video Amabiribo by 1 Touch is a beautiful presentation of traditional African music and dance preformed in modern Africa and interlaced with footage from the film Black November, directed by Jeta Amata.
The film was inspired by true events, and tells the story of an oil-rich Nigerian community that wages war against an oil corporation to protect their land from being destroyed. In the film, rebels kidnap an American oil executive and demand that his corporation end the destruction.
The film was nominated for 13 awards in the 2015 African Oscars and took home several, including, ‘Best Film’ and is avail via iTunes. Watch ‘Black November’ Here
