Adrien Broner May be in Trouble Again!
One thing you can say about Adrien Broner, he keeps his name in the headlines…wether
it’s good or bad.
Earlier this week Broner went at his “big brother” Floyd Mayweather, after Mayweather critized Broner for tossing money in Walmart.
In Broner’s response, he called “Money” Mayweather a hypocrite for having similar behaviors in the past – i.e. – burning money in a strip club.
Now, after this occured we all thought that Broner’s attention would now be on Ashley Theophane (TMT Fighter), as their fight will take place on April 1st, live on Spike TV.
But, once again Broner’s name is back in the headlines for a serious alleged offense.
It was first reported by TMZ Sports, that Broner is wanted in his home town of Cincinnati, Ohio for an incident that took place in January.
According to documents obtained by TMZ Sports, Adrien Broner is alleged of using a gun to rob a man outside a Cincinnati bowling alley on January 21st, after losing a string of bets to the alleged victim.
The unidentified victim told police, Broner approached the said victim after winning thousands of dollars and was punched in the face and neck. The alleged victim would continue to state, that Broner then went to his car, grabbed his gun and proceeded to rob him of all his money. The victim was reportedly hospitalized.
TMZ Sports also reports that Broner has been charged with aggravated robbery and felonious assault and a warrant for his arrest. As of now, Broner has yet to respond to TMZ Sport’s report. Will this lead to Broner’s fight against Ashley Theophane being cancelled? We’ll have to wait and see!
