Brock Lesnar vs Mark Hunt – UFC 200
It’s official, after finding out that Brock Lesnar will be returning to the Octagon, we now know who his opponent for UFC 200 will be and that man is – Mark Hunt.
Earlier today, Lesnar sat down with ESPN’s Hannah Storm in a ‘Face to Face’ interview to discuss this shocking deal.
Lesnar touted his credentials in both UFC and WWE. “I’m a crossover athlete. I’m the modern-day Bo Jackson, people,” he said, referring to the professional football and baseball player. “I’m excited about it. I’m enthusiastic. I couldn’t be more excited and honored to have the opportunity that both companies have faith in Brock Lesnar to allow him to step back into the Octagon,” he said. (ESPN)
As for Mark Hunt, he’s no slouch and is riding a two fight win streak, both by knock out! So Lesnar is not looking for an easy fight, but no fight in the UFC is easy.
Remember, this is a “one-fight” deal and Lesnar will be back in the WWE for SummerSlam. So if Lesnar wins, this will defiantly shake up the Heavyweight rankings in the UFC. But, regardless of all that, UFC 200 will be a ‘can’t miss’ event!
