Everything Wrong With Goosebumps (the movie) in 15 Minutes or Less!
If you’re like me, Goosebumps was a main fixture of your childhood. Who did not love this show, when they were younger?
The books written by R. L. Stine and published by Scholastic Publishing were brought to life on TV, airing on Fox Kids in the U.S., from the early-mid 90’s and ending in 98′.
With Goosebumps still remaining in the hearts of millennials and the show being featured on the streaming service Netflix – it was proven that the show still had a strong following.
So, it was decided to bring the series to the big screen…
This news was great, if you were a fan, but soon that news would turn into meh, after watching the first trailer. Then, after watching the movie, that meh feeling would turn into anger.
It was cool seeing all of our favorite characters come to life on the silver screen, but it did not give that nostalgic feeling. There were so many things wrong with the film. Simply, the film did not meet the standards that the show provided for when we were younger.
