Metallica was not kidding around when they said they would be releasing a music video for every single on their latest album, Hardwired…. To Self-Destruct. The latest track to receive a visual treatment is this dark and menacing Metallica Confusion track. Through ripping guitar rifts and thumping drum beats, James Hetfield‘s vocals come bursting in with his harsh vocal tones that he’s become known for.
The cinematic visuals, directed by Claire Marie Vogel are as equally dark as the lyrics to the song are themselves. The traumatic clips blend together two dark and depressing lives that seem to finally collide together in the end. Claire did an amazing job at giving us a music video that looks more like a short film and it’s full of dark and depressing story lines that will leave you glued to your seat.
