The group New Edition Received a Star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame with thousands of ecstatic fans watching!
Today the guys of r&b super group New Edition were honored with one of the biggest awards and achievements you can receive in the entertainment industry. Thousands of overjoyed fans made it out to watch as New Edition received a Star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame this morning on Los Angeles, California. Members Ralph Tresvant, Ronnie DeVoe, Michael Bivens, Ricky Bell, Bobby Brown and Johnny Gill were all there to receive the award. They’re receiving this achievement just one day before the 3 part tv special, The New Edition Story premieres on BET tomorrow January 24th.
Award winning producer Jimmy Jam, the man known for producing many of New Edition’s hit singles like “Can You Stand The Rain”, gave a speech during the award ceremony. Stephen Hill, the President Of Original Programming for BET was also at the award ceremony to give a speech. Receiving this award further solidifies the amount of success we all know New Edition experienced during their entertainment careers which have spanned over three decades. With eight multi-platinum albums and numerous number 1 hit singles, the group was constantly breaking records and climbing to the top of the music charts. So it’s only right that the members of New Edition are finally receiving their well deserved Star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
