Atlanta based record label Quality Control just dropped their Control The Streets Vol 1 mixtape last month. The project features all of their current artists collaborating with some of the hottest names in rap music. Now that the mixtape is out, they’ve begun rolling out visuals for some of the project’s hottest tracks. They originally rolled out the Quavo She For Keeps collaboration with Nicki Minaj around the same time as the mixtape. The song is a banger so it’s clear to see why it’s quickly become a fan favorite off Control The Streets Vol 1. And now they have finally released an official music video for their hit collaboration.
Quavo co-directed the colorful new music video for his collaboration with Nicki with The Daps. They delivered a fun and vibrant cinematic clip that’s packed full of charming nostalgia. It comes complete with a super nintendo, reebok pumps, an oversized flip phone and a classic 50’s style diner. Quavo delivers his lovestruck bars while Nicki comes in flexing with her crafty verse.
