Scottish rockers Snow Patrol are getting ready to release their highly anticipated new album Wildness in a few more days. So of course the guys are keeping the new singles and clean visuals coming our way! And fans couldn’t be more excited since Snow Patrol hasn’t dropped a project in about seven years. Wildness is the first full length album from the rockers since the release of 2011’s Fallen Empires. With their album due to drop Friday, we’ve also received a new Life On Earth song as the second single. This new Snow Patrol Life On Earth single is a haunting record following up their lead single, Dont Give In. Taking a philosophical approach, lead vocalist Gary Lightbody reflects on going through hard times. The lyrics also evoke emotions of pain from an internal struggle with depression that Gary has dealt with himself.
In addition to receiving the new record, the official Snow Patrol Life On Earth music video has hit the net! Their cinematic clip for Life On Earth was shot at the European Space Agency based in Holland. The visual blends in epic scenes from space while mixing in images of various ultrasounds. And Lightbody can be seen wandering through the space station while performing the song creating a dramatic effect.
