The film is an adaptation of the popular The Darkest Minds book, a novel written by Alexandra Bracken. Director Jennifer Yuh Nelson shot the highly anticipated upcoming sci-fi thriller. In this exciting new thriller, kids all around the world suddenly start receiving mysterious new powers. Some of the adults gain fear and the government declares the kids a threat and start detaining them. A group of teens form an alliance while seeking shelter and hiding from the adults. Eventually they set out to take back their freedom and restore things back to normal. From what we can see, this will definitely be one heck of an exciting action packed film.
