Who’s ready for the next installment in the Purge movie series? Well, ready or not, Universal Pictures is officially ready to unleash their next movie over this upcoming summer! This time around they’re taking us back to the beginning of where it all started with The First Purge. The upcoming horror flick is set to premiere in theaters everywhere next month on July 4th. Serving as a prequel, the film shows us the events that take place leading up to the very First Purge. The script for the American dystopian crime flick was written by James DeMonaco while the movie was directed by Gerard McMurray. And The First Purge cast includes Marisa Tomei, Melonie Diaz, Lex Scott Davis and plenty of other familiar faces.
