Indie rock band The Killers finally released their well received Wonderful Wonderful album towards the end of last year. Since their album’s release, the guys having been rolling out the new music nonstop. And their loyal fans have definitely been loving every second of it! For their latest offering, we’ve received this brand new The Killers Rut record. Lead vocalist Brandon Flowers recently announced that he wrote the moving new record about his wife. The record has quickly become their fans favorite song off the Wonderful Wonderful album. With it’s powerful message, it only makes sense that The Killers decided to release Rut as an official single. Which of course means they’ve also released a new music video to go along with the smash hit song.
The emotional new cinematic clip for Rut was filmed by the director Danny Drysdale. With the song touching on the topic of PTSD, they used this new video to bring the song’s lyrics to life in a truly moving way. The touching story is told from the perspective of a young woman suffering from depression and loneliness during various stages of her life.
