Canadian rockers Three Days Grace finally released their highly anticipated Outsider album last month on March 9th. Outsider is the multi-platinum band’s sixth studio album, and follows up their 2015 Human album. It’s also their second full length album since Matt Walst replaced Adam Gontier as lead vocalist in 2013.They also released the track, I Am An Outsider, as the next official single off their chart topping album. This new Three Days Grace I Am An Outsider track is one of their more aggressive songs on the album. Serving as the album’s second single, it also follows up their album’s lead single, The Mountain. The defiant cut carries the sounds of crushing drums combined with heavy synth riffs. They also blended in electronic undertones throughout the beat for an incredibly awesome effect.
Matt belts out defiant lyrics about not conforming to society and letting people’s negative influences bother them. I Am An Outsider is about accepting that your different and not being affected by what people think.
